As per the exam schedule by NTA, JEE Main 2024 will be held in two sessions — January and April, NEET will be held in May, CUET UG in May and UGC NET in June
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates of the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) 2024, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG and PG 2024 as well as UGC NET on the official website at nta.ac.in. As per the exam schedule by NTA, JEE Main 2024 exam will be held in two sessions — January and April, NEET will be held in May, CUET UG in May and UGC NET in June.
As per the official notice, the NTA added that the results of JEE Main will be announced within three weeks of conducting the exam. Results of the medical entrance exam, NEET will be declared in the second week of June.
JEE Main, NEET, CUET, UGC NET: NTA Exam Schedule 2024
JEE Main 2024 Session 1 – Between 24th January and 1st February, 2024.
JEE Main 2024 Session 2 – Between 1st April, 2024 and 15th April, 2024.
NEET UG 2024 – 5th May, 2024
CUET UG 2024 – Between 15th May, 2024 and 31st May, 2024.
CUET PG 2024 – Between 11th March, 2024 and 28th March, 2024.
UGC-NET Session I – Between 10th June and 21st June, 2024
“The Examination Specific details shall be informed to candidates through the Information Bulletin of respective examinations, which will be published at the time of launch of Registration Forms of these examinations. The results of all CBT Examinations shall be announced within three weeks of the conclusion of the examination. For NEET (UG) 2024, the results shall be declared by second week of June, 2024,” the official notice by NTA added.
In 2023, the NTA conducted the engineering entrance exam in two phases. The agency is yet to notify the registration dates for the exams, however, as per past year trends it usually begins around December.
NTA is also expected to release the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2023 session registrations soon. Once the registration link is active, candidates can apply for the UGC NET December 2023 exam by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
