In the case of murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, the police have registered a case under serious sections including murder. In this, Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh has narrated the whole situation. He told that when he ran after the son with the gunman, by then the attackers had surrounded the son. Firing was being done at him. At present, no one has been named in the case. Police has registered this case only against unknown killers.
The attackers came in Corolla and Bolero vehicles. After the incident, Corolla was found standing on the road in Mansa.

Bullet proof Fortuner kept after threats from gangsters
Balkaur Singh said that the 27-year-old son Moosewala was constantly threatened by gangsters. A ransom was being demanded from him. Other gangsters groups including Lawrence were threatening him. Seeing this, he had kept his personal Fortuner bullet proof vehicle. We also have a Thar Jeep (PB 65 AN 9713).
While talking, he left with Thar.
Father Balkaur Singh told that Gurpreet Singh and Gurwinder Singh came home on Sunday. He kept on talking with Musewala. While talking, those people left with Thar jeep. The son did not take the gunman with him.
I came to know then ran back
Balkaur Singh said that when I came to know, I immediately called the gunmen. Putting them together, put the car behind Musewala. When he reached Jawaharke village, he saw that a Corolla car numbered DL 4 CA 3414 was going behind Moosewala’s Thar, in which four youths were sitting. Our car was far behind. When Musewala’s car turned towards Barnala, Bolero (PB 5 AP 6114) was already parked ahead. There were also 4 youths in it.
Its driver put his Bolero in front of Moosewala’s Thar. Corolla car stopped Thar from behind. After this he fired indiscriminately at Musewala. Then they fled towards Barnala. When he got closer, both Musewala and others were in critical condition. He had been shot. Sidhu Musewala was declared brought dead on arrival at the hospital.
