However, they feel that there are still some gaps in various aspects of the incident. The detectives took Satyendra into custody for 14 days on Friday to gather all that information.
According to CID sources, Atanu paid 50 thousand rupees to Satyendra to buy a motorcycle a month ago. He said that a good motorcycle would be made within 2 lakh rupees. But since then, Satyendra was spinning Atanu with various words. He did not even ask for the money back. Satyendra’s claim that Atanu badmouthed his wife for not returning the money. Due to this, he became angry with the teenager. After that he started planning to kill Atanu.

During interrogation, Satyendra hired 4 thugs to kill Atanu and kept him in a hotel in New Town for 4 days. On August 22, he called Atanu in the name of buying a motorcycle. Atanu Pistuto arrived to meet with his cousin Abhishek. Satyendra had arranged the whole plan beforehand and rented 2 cars. He himself was driving one of them. He took Atanu, Abhishek and Abhijit Basu who was the first arrested in this case in that car. The other had 3 more people.
On August 22 evening, Atanu went to a motorcycle showroom in Rajarhat with Atanu. But Atun’s motorcycle was not liked there. After that he went towards Basanti Expressway with Atanu and Abhishek. Standing in an empty spot on the road, the car behind has broken down. They should also be picked up in this car. After that, the number of passengers in Atanud’s car stood at 7 people. The rope was already kept in the car. They killed Atanu and Abhishek with that rope around 9 pm. After that, the body of 2 people was thrown into the sheep and the car used in the murder was left near Ruby in the morning. 5 of them escaped in another car. During the cross-examination, Satyendra said that he had no plan to kill Abhishek. He had to kill Abhishek only to destroy the evidence.
