Murder of a friend for roti: Went to eat at Dhaba in Delhi’s Karol Bagh, if bread was not given, he was stabbed to death

A case of shame to humanity has come to light from Karol Bagh, Delhi. Here a man killed his own friend for not giving him bread. The deceased has been identified as Munna from Madhya Pradesh, he used to live with his family by driving a rickshaw in Delhi.

There was a fight over not sharing the food
Lakhan, an eyewitness, said that on the night of July 26, at around 10 pm, Munna had come to eat food at the dhaba with his friend Firoz Khan. Both were sitting together and eating food, when Firoz asked Munna for bread and vegetables. On this Munna gave bread and vegetables. After some time Firoz again asked for a roti from Munna, to which Munna refused.

Lakhan says that there was an altercation and fight between the two regarding this matter. During this, Firoz stabbed Munna in his stomach two or three times and ran away. Lakhan says I immediately informed the matter to the police.

Munna died due to excessive bleeding
Delhi’s DCP Shweta Chauhan said that on the night of July 26, there was news of a man lying in a pool of blood lying on the road in Karol Bagh area. Police took him to RML Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Doctors say that Munna died due to excessive bleeding. At present, the police has kept the body safe in the hospital for post-mortem.

Accused arrested after 6 hours
Police identified the accused from the CCTV installed at the spot and started searching for him. Six hours after the incident, the police arrested Firoz from a park in Karol Bagh. During interrogation, he has confessed his crime. Firoz is a resident of Agra district of UP. He earns his living by picking up garbage.
