In North Delhi’s Majnu Ka Tila, a woman stabbed her friend who was living with her to death. There was a fight between the two in a drunken state at the party. The incident is of Monday night. The body was found on the terrace in the morning.
According to DCP Sagar Kalsi, the name of the deceased was Rani. She used to work in a beauty parlor in Gurugram. She used to live with Sapna in a rented flat in Majnu Ka Teela. Sapna is accused of killing Rani. The police also say that he has confessed to his crime.
She was abusing her father, when Rani stopped her, a fight ensued.
Kalsi told that on Monday night in the party, Sapna started abusing her father in a drunken state. When Rani tries to stop Sapna, a fight ensues between the two. Apart from these two, there were six other people in the party. At that time, the friends pacified the quarrel by giving advice.
In the morning both of them had an argument again, Sapna killed her with a knife.
The DCP said that there was a confrontation between the two again at around 4:30 am on Tuesday morning. The matter increased so much that Sapna attacked Rani with a knife kept in the kitchen. He died on the spot. Sapna is divorced and has a daughter. Sapna works as a waiter in weddings.
Police is further investigating in this matter.
