According to critics Taran Adarsh, ’83’ has got 3,374 screens in Hindi, has been released in 1,727 theaters, and will screen 11,011 shows in Hindi every day. Apart from this, the film has got 137 screens in Telugu, 184 in Tamil, 13 in Malayalam, and 33 in Kannada. In this sense, the film has been released on 3,741 screens across India.
Actor Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s ’83’ has been released in theaters on 24 December (Friday). The film is getting a good response from the audience and critics. The film has made a box office collection of about Rs 15 crore on the first day of release i.e., opening day. However, ’83’ has failed to beat Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Spider-Man No Way Home’ in terms of first-day collections.
