In UP, 4 deaths have been reported from dengue in the last 13 days. More than 4,000 dengue cases have been registered in UP since January 1 this year. This virus is becoming increasingly uncontrollable in UP.

Bhaskar’s team reached Lucknow’s Civil and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Took stock of the condition of the patients. Dr. Sonia Nityanand, Director and Dengue Specialist, Lohia Hospital, said, “Patients are reaching the hospital. Due to the heavy rains of September, dengue has increased in UP. People with low immunity, especially those who have been infected with Kovid, need to be careful.

Let us know everything according to doctors, from the beginning to the end of dengue in the human body.

If any of the above-mentioned symptoms are seen, then go to a good doctor. The doctor will do a test called Antigen Blood Test ie NS-1. Only then there is clear information whether the patient has dengue or not. But this test is not effective when the symptoms of dengue increase. So get ELISA test done. Its result is 100% correct. There are 2 types of these tests – IGM and IGG.

Dr. Sonia said, “Dengue cases increase by the end of September and remain at their peak in October-November. This happens every year because the day temperature in these months is around 20 degrees. It is conducive to the breeding of dengue mosquitoes. Therefore, periodically remove the accumulated clean water, keep changing it. Use mosquito nets even during the day. Take all mosquito repellent measures during the day.

There are 3 types of dengue fever

1. Classical Dengue Fever: This is a normal fever. There is no danger of death in it. The patient gets cured in 5 to 7 days.

2. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever: This is called hemorrhagic fever. The D2 strain itself causes this. The symptoms written in the above graphic are of this fever. There is a possibility of increasing the danger of this in UP.

3. Dengue Shock Syndrome: If symptoms of shock syndrome are combined with the symptoms of hemorrhagic fever, then the patient’s condition becomes worse. In this, the patient’s body becomes cold and fever is high. The patient gradually becomes unconscious. If not treated on time, the patient dies.

Once dengue occurs, the risk of recurrence increases
Dengue has an incubation period of 3 to 10 days. It starts showing its full effect in 5 to 7 days. The patient’s condition can become critical in 48 hours i.e. 3 to 7 days after showing signs. And yes, a patient suffering from dengue virus can also catch another strain of dengue. It is very dangerous, so the patient fighting dengue needs to be more careful.

Platelets do not increase by eating medicine and anything

Dr. Sonia said, “The blood platelets of a patient infected with dengue start falling. Do not panic if there are 20 thousand platelets. Drink plenty of water and other fluids. If it is less than this, platelets are removed from the body of a donor and given to the patient. The life of platelets taken from donor is 3 to 10 days. This situation does not happen in normal dengue.

He further explained, “Platelets are formed by the breakdown of RBCs, which are made by the body itself. It cannot be increased in the body in any way, neither by medicine nor by eating anything.”
