1. Night curfew begins in MP, New Year’s celebration will have to be celebrated at home
Night curfew has started again in Madhya Pradesh after 37 days. There will be a ban on movement from 11 pm to 5 am here. 2. 96 new cases of Omicron were found in 7 states, now a total of 357 patients in the country
96 new cases of Omicron have been found in 7 states of the country. Of these, 33 have come up in Tamil Nadu and 23 in Maharashtra. Apart from these, the new variant has been confirmed in 14 people in Telangana, 12 in Karnataka, 7 in Gujarat and 5 in Kerala. The number of Omicron infected in the country has increased to 357. Maximum 88 cases are in Maharashtra, 64 in Delhi. A 10-day lockdown has been imposed in Telangana.

3. Suggestion of Allahabad High Court, stop rallies or postpone elections in UP
In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Allahabad High Court has demanded from the Election Commission and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to postpone the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year. Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav said that the Election Commission should ban election rallies to save the public from the third wave of Corona. Also consider postponing the Prime Minister’s election, because if there is life, then there is a world.

4. PM Modi said in the meeting on Corona – stock of medicine and oxygen should not be reduced
PM Narendra Modi held a review meeting with the officers on the increasing cases of Omicron in the country. In this, the Prime Minister’s focus was on 3 things. He asked the officers to increase the stock of medicines and oxygen. Along with increasing testing and tracing, the emphasis was on improving the health infrastructure and using IT tools for the supply of vaccine-drugs in remote areas.

A bomb blast took place in the district court of Ludhiana at 12.25 pm. In this one person died and 6 are injured. The use of IED is suspected in the blast. The 6-day mission started on 21 December 1968 and was completed on 27 December. The crew of Apollo 8 consisted of Frank Borman, Jim Lovell and Bill Anders.
