96 new cases of Omicron have been found in 7 states of the country. Of these, 33 have come up in Tamil Nadu and 23 in Maharashtra. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Allahabad High Court has demanded from the Election Commission and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to postpone the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh next year. Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav said that the Election Commission should ban election rallies to save the public from the third wave of Corona.
