Indian Air Force has received 94,281 applications under Agneepath scheme in 4 days. Till a day earlier, there were 56,960. The Air Force is about to recruit 3000 Agniveers. For this, applications are being filled from June 24 and will be filled by July 5. After the announcement of this plan on June 14, violent demonstrations took place in many states. The opposition is still demanding the Center to withdraw the scheme.

The exam will be held in 2 phases
Candidates from 10th pass to diploma holder or vocational course in Airforce can also apply to become Agniveer. The online exam will be held from July 24 to July 31, 2022. After this, the admit cards for Phase 2 will be issued on August 10. Phase 2 of the examination will be held from 21 to 28 August 2022. Medical- will be held from 29 August to 8 November 2022 and the result will be released on 1 December 2022.

Agniveer will not be able to become a rioter

Indian Army Lieutenant General Anil Puri said that the person becoming Agniveer will give an affidavit that he has not demonstrated or vandalized. No one will join the army without police verification. Puri said that the youth should be physically ready, so that they can join and train with us. We had not anticipated the recent violence over this plan. There is no place for indiscipline in the armed forces. All have to give in writing that they were not involved in any kind of arson/violence.

Will get both honor and leave
The biggest issue regarding the recruitment of Agniveers was leave and award. The Air Force has made it clear that Agniveer will be entitled to all military honors and awards. They will also be given 30 days leave in a year. Apart from this, sick leave will also be available on the advice of the doctor in case of illness.

Agneepath scheme will ruin the youth: Malik
Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik told reporters on Sunday that the Agneepath scheme would ruin the youth. The youth employed under the scheme will come back after four years and sit at their homes. They won’t even get married. This plan will also reduce the honor of the army. The government should re-think about this scheme.

Mamta demanded to raise the retirement age of Agniveers to 65 years
West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has demanded from the central government to increase the retirement age of Agniveers from 4 years to 65 years. He said that Agneepath scheme is a lollipop for the people before the Lok Sabha elections. Even before this, Mamta had told the plan to make BJP’s cadre.

10 thousand to better 40,000 jobs in private
On Agneepath scheme, Gujarat BJP President CR Patil said that youths who do not want to go under this scheme, then they cannot go. Second, if a graduate youth goes to a private job for 10 thousand rupees, then instead of it, he gets 40 thousand rupees every month, then according to 4 years he got work for 16 years.

Praising the scheme, he said that after this he gets Rs 12 lakh and also gets one month leave every year. Reservation of 10% will be available in Military, Home Ministry and other places. If he will get respect in the society, then youth should participate enthusiastically in this scheme.
