- Entered In Guinness Book, Then Auction Of Blue Diamond Was The Most Expensive For 373 Crores

How many diamonds can be set in a diamond ring? At most 10 but you will be surprised to know that a ring named ‘Touch of Amy’ manufactured in Malappuram district of Kerala has broken the record of diamonds set in rings. 24,679 diamonds have been installed on this ring, due to which its name has been included in the Guinness Book.
This ring was made by DWA Company, which is a leading diamond jewelery maker in India. Designed by Rijisha TV, a Post Graduate in Lifestyle Accessory Design from National Institute of Design. It took a total of 90 days to prepare it.
Why is that ring special, which broke the Guinness World Record
The design of this ring is inspired by Pink Oyster Mushroom. The ring initially contained 12,638 diamonds. But after finishing and retouch, it was completed with 24,679 Heroes. The company said that they are proud that this achievement has been achieved in Kerala instead of Belgium. Belgium is at number one in diamond jewelry production.
This ring was made by DWM Company, which is a leading diamond jewelery maker in India.
Such rings have already been made in India.
This is not the first time that a diamond ring has set a world record. Even before this, in the year 2020, Harshit Bansal, a jewelery designer living in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, made a ring with 12,638 diamonds, due to which his name was recorded in the Guinness Book. Harshit is the Managing Director of M/s Renani based at City Bullion.
Bansal named the ring ‘The Marigold’ because it was designed like a marigold flower. The ring weighs 165 grams, which was studded with 38.08 carats of diamonds. It took Harshit three years to prepare it. Prior to Harshit, Srikkanth of Hyderabad had made a ring of 7801 diamonds in ‘spherical abstract’ design and Harshit made this new record by putting more diamonds than that.
This ring was designed by Harshit of Meerut in 3 years.
The world’s most expensive diamond belonged to India
It is said that Kohinoor is the most expensive diamond in the world. The Kohinoor is a 105.6 carat diamond, which is oval in shape and is counted among the most expensive diamonds. It is said that it was found in India in the year 1300. Britain took it in the year 1850 and it was changed by Prince Albert in 1852 and the 186 carat diamond was changed to 105 carat. This special type of diamond is also called Mountain of Light and Diamond of Babur.
The biggest diamond auction was held two months ago
Two months ago the world’s largest white diamond ‘The Rock’ was auctioned in Geneva. This rare white diamond was extracted from a mine in South Africa. Whose weight was 228.31 carats. Apart from The Rock, The Red Cross Diamond was also auctioned in this auction. This yellow colored diamond of 205.7 carats was named ‘The Red Cross Diamond’. Part of the money received from its auction was given to the Red Cross Society.

Sotheby’s Company had auctioned Wonder Diamonds Blue Diamond
Blue Diamond, the world’s most expensive diamond ever, was auctioned today under the Sotheby’s Company in Hong Kong. The De Beers Cullinan Blue Diamond is 15.10 carats. It has been sold for £39 million, which is worth around 373 crores in Indian Rupees. At the same time, it is worth $57.5 million in US dollars.
