Arrived in Ahmedabad for the last program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s three-day visit to Gujarat. Here he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various health care facilities costing Rs 1300 crore in the premises of Civil Hospital. During this, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, BJP State President CR Patil and all the ministers of the Gujarat government were present.
Inauguration of new buildings of the hospital
These projects included construction and inauguration of a new building with hi-tech facilities for heart patients at UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre. Along with this, new buildings of the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Center and Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute were inaugurated. After this, by inaugurating the new hostel building, the foundation stone of a shelter home providing accommodation to the families of poor patients was laid.

Earlier, Modi had reached Jamkandorana in Rajkot at around 11 am. Addressing a huge public meeting here, he said- I am the first Prime Minister who has come to Jamkandorna.
