A case of mobile hacking has come to light in Bhopal through a single call. The incident is of Sunday. Victim Priyanka Gupta told that I got a call and was told that testing is going on for 5G network. That’s why I am giving a number, you call on it. As soon as I called that number all my calls and messages got diverted to him.
Priyanka told- Hacker called me from mobile number- 9153801883 and asked if 5G network is working well in your mobile, then I replied no. Only after that he asked to call a number (*401# 9153801883). Now the accused is asking money from my friends through WhatsApp. He has also cheated my friend of one lakh.
This is the hacker’s phone number, which came to the victim at 3.39 pm on Sunday.
Hacker is now demanding money from WhatsApp
Priyanka told that apart from my content list, messages, the hacker has complete social media. The victim said that the accused is now asking money from people of my identity through WhatsApp. He is asking 5 thousand from some and 10 and 15 thousand from some. The victim says that the accused is asking for money on 9153801883399@paytm. When this ID is being searched, Raghunandan Yadav’s name is coming in it.
victim’s friend cheated of 1 lakh
Priyanka says that a similar incident happened on Sunday morning with my friend Shilpa Deshmukh. When the hacker asked Shilpa’s friends for money from the same paytm ID, her friends sent around Rs 1 lakh. Shilpa has also registered a case in Indore Cyber Cell. Police say that both the cases are being investigated by linking them together.
