While the results of the recent Civil Services Examination have given happiness to many aspirants, there is also an aspirant who failed again and again and kept trying till the end. Rajat Sambial who gave interview in last attempt. But lagged behind from number 11 and could not reach the threshold of success.

After this he spoke on Twitter. His tweet is now going viral. All the women aspirants are also tying the silver medal on Twitter.

Pre and Mains did not come out many times in 10 years

Rajat was engaged in UPSC preparation for ten years. But, many times his pre did not come out and many times he could not perform well in the mains exam.

This time the dreams came to a halt by trailing by 11 points in the interview. This was Rajat’s sixth and last attempt.

Rajat said- Ten years of hard work got ruined

After the results were not favourable, Rajat tweeted and said – Ten years of hard work got ruined. I have to get up now.

Rajat Sambial, who completed Civil Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, said – This was my sixth and last attempt. I never made it to the last round. This time I completed all the rounds and in the end hoped that the result would be favorable.

Earlier Rajat failed in prelims thrice. Couldn’t clear the mains twice. When I gave the interview in the last attempt, the fear of low score was haunting. Born in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajat grew up in Jammu.

Here, Ayushi, who was blind by birth, got the 48th rank in the civil service

Although this time girls have won the first three positions of the Civil Services Examination, but apart from them, many toppers are in the headlines due to their hard work. One of them is Delhi’s Ayushi who has secured 48th position. Ayushi is completely blind and is a history teacher in a Delhi government school.

Ayushi, 29, who was blind by birth, didn’t let challenges get to her. Ayushi hails from Ranikheda, Delhi.

Ayushi completed her schooling at a private school in Rani Kheda and earned her BA program degree from Syama Prasad Mukherjee College, University of Delhi.  He later did his master's degree in history from IGNOU.

Ayushi said that my dream has come true. It’s great to know that my name is in the top 50 list. Everyone is happy for me. I come from a simple family and my only aim was to get a job. In 2016 I started preparing for the exam with the help of my mother. Congratulatory messages are pouring in from friends and family. Ayushi says that education is a means of empowerment. I especially want to work towards the education of girls and want to inspire people with disabilities.

Mother believed, daughter would pass the exam

Aayushi credits her success to her mother, who took voluntary retirement from her post as a senior nursing staff in 2020. Ayushi also told that my mother took retirement from her job to help with my preparations.

Aayushi’s mother Asha Rani (54) said that she was confident that her daughter would qualify for the exam. Even though God deprived him of sight but he also showed him a way. Despite the challenges, he overcame the obstacles. Proud of him for not giving up.
