The verified plans first came for users and now businesses as well
Meta Verified basically gets you a host of features for a monthly subscription fee and now even businesses in India can sign up for it.
Meta has announced the expansion of Verified subscription plans on Facebook and Instagram for businesses in India. The social media giant introduced Meta Verified for businesses last year. The company said that the expanded Meta Verified business offering includes the verified badge commonly called the “Blue Tick.” Additionally, the subscription will offer users enhanced impersonation protection, account support, and other features to support connection and discovery.
Subscribers can select from four subscription plans of Meta Verified that can be purchased through the iOS and Android apps of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
“Businesses have an option to either purchase Meta Verified for Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp or do a bundled purchase for Facebook and Instagram.”
The verified plans for businesses start at Rs 639 per month for a single app, going further up to Rs 21,000 per month, an introductory discounted rate for both apps.
The tech giant also offers support to its verified subscribers, which starts with access to email or chat with agents and builds on requesting a call back from the agent to dedicated case monitoring with each plan.
A Verified business subscriber can add more links in their Reels, depending on the plan or access more features, to enhance their profile on different Meta platforms.
Earlier this year, the company also announced the expansion of the trial from one subscription plan to four. It was followed up with the launch of Meta Verified for Businesses in India on its instant messaging platform WhatsApp last month.
