Mehbooba Mufti said- India’s condition is like Pakistan: There the sword of arrest hangs over Imran, here opposition leaders are being jailed

Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has compared India to Pakistan. He said that the way Pakistan’s police is trying to arrest former PM Imran Khan. In the same way, the government in India is getting the opposition leaders and ministers arrested. Agencies are raiding them.

Mehbooba Mufti said in a press conference on Thursday that there is an attempt to arrest former PM Imran Khan in Pakistan, it is a very bad thing. But in our place (India) people are arresting ministers and former ministers and putting them in jail.

If noticed, the conditions are the same in both the countries. Agencies like ED and CBI are being misused in our country. Talk about Sisodia or the way KCR’s daughter’s poem is being targeted. Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family are also on the target of the agencies.

Delhi: Manish Sisodia arrested

Manish Sisodia was arrested by CBI on February 26, he is currently in Tihar Jail.

The CBI had arrested Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Liquor Policy case on February 26 after 8 hours of questioning. The agency produced him in the court on 27 February. Here the court sent him to CBI remand for 5 days and then for 2 days. After this, Sisodia was sent to Tihar Jail in judicial custody. From here he was arrested by ED. At present, Sisodia is in ED custody till March 17.

At the same time, in the CBI case, the court will hear Sisodia’s bail plea on March 21 at 2 pm. Last year, the ED arrested Satendra Jain, another Delhi government minister, in a money laundering case.

Telangana: ED clamps down on K Kavita

ED is interrogating Kavitha, daughter of Telangana CM KCR, in the Delhi liquor policy case. On March 11, the agency interrogated Kavita in Delhi for about 9 hours. The ED called him again for questioning on March 16. However, Kavita did not appear before the ED today.

He sent the documents to the agency in the hands of his lawyer. After this, ED issued a new summon to Kavita on Thursday and called her for questioning on March 20. On the other hand, the Supreme Court will hear the matter on March 24, but the court did not give any interim relief to Kavita.

Bihar: CBI is questioning Lalu family

Lalu, Rabri and Misa Bharti got bail from Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday in the Land for Job scam case.

The CBI is questioning the Lalu family in the Land for Jobs scam case. On Thursday, Tejashwi Yadav got a big blow from the Delhi High Court. The court rejected Tejashwi’s plea to quash the CBI summons. Said that Tejashwi will have to go to the CBI office on March 25 at 10.30 am. Earlier, the CBI has questioned RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi and her daughters in the case.
