In Darbhanga’s DMCH (Dayanand Medical College and Hospital), an argument broke out between the medical students and the shopkeeper running the medical shop late on Friday night. The matter escalated so much that the agitated students set fire to four shops inside the campus by sprinkling petrol. At the same time, an attempt was made to burn 4 people alive. The police who reached the spot somehow pacified the matter. However, the students became so furious that two police personnel were also injured in the clash. Students had come to buy Maggi

According to information received from the medical shop owner Javed Khan, the students had come to buy Maggi from the grocery shop adjacent to the medical shop. There was no shopkeeper at the grocery store at that time. A staff of the medical shop asked the students to wait for a while.

On this the students got angry and started arguing. The matter gradually escalated to abuse. The students got angry. He also called up his other friends. In anger, he stabbed the staff in the face with scissors.

Students set fire by sprinkling petrol

The owner of the shop told that when the dispute escalated, the sound started coming to the house behind the shop. When he came out, he saw that the students were very angry. Students who arrived in large numbers had petrol in their hands. Tried to convince them a lot, but the students did not listen. He angrily lit the shop and matches by sprinkling petrol on him and his staff.

Four people got burnt in the whole incident. At the same time, 3 more shops nearby, including the medical shop, which came under fire, were also completely burnt. The agitated students also beat everyone up with sticks and sticks. In the incident, someone’s head has been broken and someone’s hand has been broken.

Two police personnel were also injured in the clash

Regarding the incident, SDPO Krishna Nandan Kumar said that as soon as he came to know about the matter, he immediately reached the spot with a large number of police forces. The students were very angry. The clash had become so severe that two policemen were also injured in pacifying them. Four shops were burnt to ashes in the entire incident. The shopkeepers have said a loss of more than 40 lakhs. The police are still camping. The situation is under control now.
