MCOCA case against Bishnoi: Three detained from Kutch district – Henry Club

The Special Cell of Delhi Police on Sunday detained three persons from Baroi village on the outskirts of Mundra city of Kutch in connection with a case registered under MCOCA against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members in Delhi last year. Bishnoi was arrested by the Punjab Police for conspiring to kill the singer-politician Sidhu Musewala,

Kutch (West) Police said that the Delhi Police team arrested Kashish alias Kuldeep, Ashok alias Ilyas alias Fauji and Keshavkumar from Baroi village on Sunday. Mundra police inspector Hardik Trivedi said, “They were wanted in connection with a case registered against Lawrence Bishnoi and others in Delhi on March 30, 2021.”

Police said that while the soldier is a resident of Punjab, two others are from Haryana. “They had come to Mundra about a week ago in search of work and had taken a room on rent in Baroi,” said Trivedi.

Police said the three were booked under sections 3 (organized offences) and 4 (possession of unaccounted property on behalf of a member of an organized crime syndicate) of the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act, 1999).

Moosewala was shot dead in Punjab allegedly by alleged shooters of the Bishoni gang, nearly three weeks after three Mundra men were taken into custody. Punjab Police has arrested Bishnoi, the alleged mastermind of the murder.
