Dipeshbhai Ambarambhai Patadiya, a resident of Wadhwan in Surendranagar, is a tailor by profession. His shop named Brilliant Tailor is on the first floor of Akash Ganga Complex in Main Bazaar, Surendranagar. He is survived by wife Pushpa Patadiya, 20-year-old daughter Utsavi and son Bhavik.

The bodies of all three were found at the same place in the canal. At the same time, a bottle of poisonous medicine has also been found on top of the canal. That’s why it is feared that all three might have jumped into the canal after drinking poisonous medicine.
