The car will get 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will also get auto LED headlamps with washer and state of the art entertainment system. Jimny has been launched in seven colours.

Tata has come up with CNG versions of Altroz ​​and Punch. You might be thinking that boot space is not available in CNG vehicles, so Tata has made arrangements for the same. For the first time in the country, Tata has brought twin cylinder system of CNG, in which CNG has two small tanks instead of one. These can be fitted below the floor, so that there is no reduction in the luggage space in the boot.

Maruti has also launched the premium SUV Franks along with the Jimny. Keeping in mind the youth, it has been launched with a 1.2 liter petrol engine in a sporty look. The company claims that the features of the Frox make it ideal for lifestyle customers. The car will be available at Nexa dealerships. Its booking has started. Like the Jimny, it can be booked for Rs 11,000.

MG showed a car running on hydrogen fuel
At the beginning of the second day at the expo, MG launched the hydrogen fuel-powered car Unique-7 (Euniq 7). The P390 fuel cell has been given in this car. The company says that refueling its 6.4-litre tank will take just three minutes. At the same time, its range with full tank is said to be 605 KM. The company has described it as important for clean mobility.

Gadkari said – focus on electric vehicles to deal with pollution
The Auto Expo was formally inaugurated on Thursday. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said in this that pollution is a big problem in the country. 30% of the fossil fuel i.e. petrol-diesel used in the world is consumed only in India. To reduce this, one has to go to electric vehicles.

Gadkari said that the government is making 26 green highways for electric vehicles. Electric vehicles will benefit from this. There is a need to run electric buses to promote public transport. The logistics cost in India for transporters is 60% while in China it is only 8 to 10%. LNG trucks have arrived in the country. It will have 40% less logistic cost as compared to diesel truck.

The Union Minister said that the cost per kilometer of electric non-AC bus is Rs 39 and that of AC bus is Rs 41. And the per kilometer cost of diesel bus comes to Rs 115. We have to work on London’s transport model.

Talking about flexi fuel, Gadkari said that Annadata will become our energy provider. With the help of Russian technology, vehicles will be able to run on ethanol like petrol. Ethanol comes for 60 to 62 rupees a litre, while the price of petrol is twice that.
