Imphal: According to an official statement released by Joint Secretary Elangbam Sonia of the Education Department, the Manipur government is set to implement a grading system for the class 10 board examination starting from this year. The new system will not include divisions or ranks; instead, students will be evaluated based on a grading system for the high school leaving certificate examination (class 10), as reported by news agency PTI.
“In the grading system being introduced, no total marks/aggregate will be displayed in the document, no division/rank will be awarded and only pass/fail will be printed”, the statement said.
“The government felt that though competition amongst the students is good to improve one’s performance, there is a need to see that it does not lead to stress or completely dishearten a minor”, it said, adding that “grading system reduces stress and burden on the students helping them to learn with less stress without being over competitive at their age”.
At least 37,715 students including 18,628 female students are appearing for the matriculation examination which is being held from March 15 to April 8 in 154 examination centres, an official said.
BSEB Likely To Release Intermediate Results In March
The Bihar School Examinations Board (BSEB) is likely to release the results of the Bihar Board Class 12 Exams 2024 soon. While the BSEB is yet to make an official announcement on the declaration of Bihar Intermediate Results 2024, considering the previous year trends of the Board where it released the results within 50 days of the conduct of exams, the BSEB is most likely to release the results somewhere around second or third week of March 2024.

Students who appeared for the BSEB Class 12 exam are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the result. Once the results are out, students can check them online at the official BSEB website at biharboardonline.biihar.gov.in.
