Man killed in tiger attack in farm near Bor buffer | Nagpur News – Times of India

Wardha: A 35-year-old man from Kannamwar village in of Karanja (Ghadge) tehsil was killed in a tiger attack on Wednesday. The incident happened when the victim, identified as Laxman Mahadev Hooke (35), was cutting grass in a farm near his village.
According to sources, Laxman had gone to the farm at around 7.30am to fetch fodder for the goats. Villagers rushed to the spot after hearings Laxmin’s screams, but by then the tiger had killed him and and also eaten some of his body parts.
Laxman has two children and dependent parents. DFO Rakesh Shepat, said they got information at around 10am. “This is the first such incident in the village which is near the buffer zone of Bor tiger reserve. We are trying to track the movement of the tiger,” he said.
