Rajkot: Family members of a man who had consumed poison in Rajkot took him to a temple instead of the hospital and he succumbed on the way. Registering a case of accidental death, B division police said that Lala Rabari (32), a driver by profession, consumed poison on Thursday. After he started to vomit, his family which is steeped in blind faith came to know that he had consumed poison and rushed him to a temple in Wankaner in order to reduce the effects of poison instead of getting him medical attention. Rabari died on the way and his body was taken to Rajkot hospital.
