7 people died in a road accident in Ambaji, Gujarat on Friday morning. A speeding car crushed 14 devotees going to visit Ambaji Mata. Of these, 7 died, while the condition of 6 is critical. The injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Modasa. All the deceased and injured are residents of Panchmahal district.

The driver was driving the car continuously for 20 hours
The driver of the Innova car, which killed 7 people in the accident, was driving continuously for 20 hours. He was going from Pune to Udaipur and due to lack of sleep, he felt a swoon. This mistake of his became the reason for this big accident. After the accident, the driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment, where he himself told this to the doctor.

Rs 4 lakh assistance to the family of the deceased
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has expressed condolences while announcing an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased. He said in a tweet that the incident of pedestrians for Ambaji Darshan near Malpur in Aravalli district is extremely sad.
