Maharashtra HSC 12th Results 2024: The overall pass percentage has seen a slight improvement this year when compared to last year. A total of 93.37 per cent of the 15 lakh students who took the exam passed

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune has announced the results for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (12th) soon. Candidates who appeared for the Science, Arts, and Commerce exam can now check and download their Maharashtra Board 2024 results from the official websites at mahresult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.in. The result link has been activated. The Maharashtra Class 12 exam was held between February 21 and March 19, 2024.

The overall pass percentage has seen a slight improvement this year when compared to last year. A total of 93.37 per cent of the 14 lakh students who took the exam passed. The Maharashtra Class 12 exam held in 2023 had an overall pass rate of 91.25 per cent. The pass percentage of girls was 93.29 per cent while boys were 89.14 per cent. In 2022, a total of 14,59,664 candidates appeared in the Maharashtra Class 12 exam and the overall pass percentage was 94.22 percent.

Girls have outperformed boys yet again. This year, the pass percentage among girls is 95.44 per cent and among boys 91.60 per cent. Science is the best-performing stream followed by commerce and arts. While 97.82 per cent of science students have cleared the exam, the pass percentage among arts students is 85.88 per cent, and among commerce, it is 92.18 per cent. The vocational stream pass percentage is 87.75 per cent and the pass percentage of the ITI stream is 87.69 per cent. Konkan is the best-performing division with a pass percentage of 97.51%.

A total of 14,33,331 students took the Maharashtra Board HSC exam this year of which 14,23,923 appeared and 13,29,684 passed. Stream-wise 7,60,046 candidates took the Maharashtra Board HSC exam in the science stream, 3,81,982 in the arts stream, and 3,29,905 in commerce.

Students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools. The details on the result include seat number, name of the student, subjects, subject code, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, maximum marks, and qualifying status.
