The swing suddenly fell down from a height of 30 feet due to breaking of cable at Disneyland built in Kundan Nagar, Ajmer on Tuesday. 15 people including 7 children were seriously injured in the accident. A total of 25 people were sitting in the swing. After the accident, all the shopkeepers along with the swing operator have fled from the fair. Police is engaged in investigation.
Darbar Disneyland was launched on February 27 near Phus Ki Kothi in Kundan Nagar area. It was to end on 28 March. Around 7 pm on Tuesday evening, 25 people were sitting in the tower swing. Suddenly the cable broke and the swing fell down from the height. The condition of the injured remains critical. He has been admitted to JLN Hospital. Civil Line Police Station has reached the spot.

ADM City Bhavna Garg said – Permission related to the fair was taken. Permission was also sought to install swings in the fair. The spot was also inspected regarding the swings. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in the investigation.

Laveena, the mother of the injured Lakshya, a resident of Vaishali Nagar, said – had taken the son for a walk with the family at the Disneyland fair. There the son was made to sit on the tower swing. The swing went up. Fell down at once. There were also many children in the swing, who were badly injured.
Rajkumar, husband of the injured Kanchan, a resident of Vaishali Nagar, said- His wife Kanchan had gone to visit the Disneyland fair with her friends. His wife was injured when the swing suddenly fell. He has got a lot of injury in his back. He is admitted in the hospital.
Kanchan, who was seriously injured in the accident, is a resident of Vaishali Nagar in Ajmer.
Additional SP Sushil Kumar said – No one has been fatally injured in the accident. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The reasons are being informed. On the other hand, as soon as the information was received, Civil Line Police Station along with Additional SP Sushil Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Islam Khan, Ramavatar Singh and other police officers reached the spot. ADM City Bhavna Garg also reached the hospital.

On resident strike, senior doctor took charge
After the accident in the fair, all the injured reached JLN Hospital. When a large number of injured reached the hospital at the same time, there was chaos there. The residents of the hospital are on strike. In such a situation, senior doctors took the lead. On the spot, ADM City Bhavna Garg spoke to the doctors of the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured.
Case filed against fair organizers
Civil Line Station In-charge Dalbir Singh said – A case has been registered against the fair organizer and the swing driver. Investigation is being done by taking the swing in its possession.
Vanshika Gurnani, who was riding on the swing, was also seriously injured. Admitted to JLN Hospital in Ajmer.
MLA Devnani reached to meet 2 seriously injured
Kishangarh resident Vanshika Gurnani and Vaishali Nagar resident Kanchan were seriously injured in the accident. Both of them are admitted in the hospital. All the other injured have been discharged. After getting information about the accident, Ajmer North MLA Vasudev Devnani reached the hospital to meet the injured.
MLA demanded action
Devnani said- Whether the person whose swing was involved in the accident was thoroughly checked by the administration or not. This is a matter of investigation. I demand that the injured should be given free treatment. Along with this, the administration should get an inquiry done against the swing owner and the fair operator. Until the investigation is completed, the fair should be kept closed.
