The President was addressing during the 12th convocation of Maharaja Shri Ramchandra Bhanjdev University. There was a power cut in the program from 11:56 to 12:05 pm. The air conditioning system was also working.

University Vice Chancellor apologized
University’s Vice Chancellor Santosh Kumar Tripathi apologized for crossing the line during President Murmu’s address. He said- I consider myself guilty for this unfortunate incident. We are ashamed of it. We will definitely investigate the incident and action will be taken against the persons responsible for the incident. State-owned Industrial Development Corporation Limited had supplied generators for the event. We will talk to him about it.
Bhaskar Sarkar, CEO of Tata Power, North Odisha Power Distribution Limited, said that the fault occurred due to some fault in the electrical wiring.
