Today is the last day of the auction of Prime Minister Souvenirs 2022. The auction will be online, which will be held at the National Gallery of Modern Art from 11 am to 6 pm. During this, 1200 gifts and mementos given to the PM will be e-auctioned. You have to buy the gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. pmmementos.gov.in Will have to bid. The PMO has fixed the base price of these gifts. This price will range from Rs 100 to Rs lakh.

The auction was earlier scheduled to be held till October 2, which was extended till October 12. This information was given by the Ministry of Culture three days ago. According to the ministry, the proceeds from the auction will be used for the Namami Gange project. Recently, the ministry had started e-auction of gifts received on the birthday of PM Modi.

What will happen in the auction
The biggest attraction during the auction are the models of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the new Kashi-Viswanath Temple in Varanasi. Apart from this, there is a badminton racket, autographed by ace shuttler K Srikanth. In addition there are sports jerseys with autographs of the wrestling, hockey, lawn bowling and para-powerlifting teams.

PM’s gifts were auctioned for the first time in the year 2018.
This will be the fourth successful series of the auction. The auction of gifts received by Narendra Modi, who became the Prime Minister in 2014, was also held in 2018 and 2019. In 2018, 1900 gifts received by the PM were put up for auction. In 2019, 2772 gifts were auctioned. The gifts sold through the e-auction included products like turbans, half jackets, paintings and bows found by the Prime Minister.

Apart from this, a frame painting made of thread, a mace of Lord Hanuman and a metallic idol of Sardar Patel were also included in these gifts. According to sources, this time the preparations for the online auction have been completed. PMO is going to release its full information soon in its website.
