Kiren Rijiju: Center appointed retired High Court judge as chairman of Law Commission, also appointed five members

The Central Government has appointed Justice Rituraj Awasthi, who has retired from the post of Chief Justice of the High Court, as the Chairman of the Law Commission of India. Justice KT Sankaran, Professor Anand Paliwal, Professor DP Verma, Professor Raka Arya and M Karunanidhi have been appointed as members of the commission. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has given information in this regard.
