The newly elected President of National Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge surprised the Haryana Congress as soon as he took charge. The name of former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda is missing from the most powerful steering committee of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). This is the situation when Hooda did not miss any opportunity to show close to Kharge.
Political experts are also surprised about this decision of Kharge. He is confused whether this is a setback to the Congress general Bhupinder Hooda in Haryana or has cleared his way. Hooda opponents Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala have been made members in the steering committee.
Committee formed in place of CWC
In his first decision by Mallikarjun Kharge, Kharge announced a 47-member steering committee in place of the Congress Working Committee (CWC). It is important to know here that the CWC has been the supreme executive body of the Congress party, but after Kharge’s announcement, now only the new steering committee will seal the major decisions related to the party organization.
These giants got their place
47 people including former president Sonia Gandhi, former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi have been included in the steering committee. In this, Shashi Tharoor, who contested against Kharge, has not got a place. Former state president Kumari Selja and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala have got the place from Haryana.
Hooda became the proposer in the nomination
Former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda became the proposers in the nomination of Mallikarjun Kharge for the election of the President of the All India Congress (AICC). Whereas 195 delegates of Haryana Congress had passed a resolution to make Rahul Gandhi the president before the elections. Even after this, Hooda supported Kharge in the election.

Hooda went to meet G-23 group
The important thing in this matter is that in the election of Congress President, Haryana Congress had passed a resolution to make Rahul Gandhi the head. In the midst of elections, Hooda met Sonia Gandhi in Delhi. He also met G-23, a group of Congressmen dissatisfied with the Gandhi family. There were many discussions about which too.
