Kharagpur. Two ticket checking staff Pintu Das and Biplab Chakraborty, who individually collected revenue of more than one crore rupees in the financial year for Kharagpur division, were felicitated by DRM MS Hashmi for joining the millionaire club. DRM motivates the checking staff to give their best.
DRM honoring CTI Biplab Chakraborty
Pintu Das of Santragachi has achieved a personal achievement of Rs 1 crore revenue collection from ticket checking during the current financial year on 26 March 2023. Pintu Das registered 11861 cases of irregular and ticketless travel in 304 working days and collected a fine of Rs 1,00,22,270/-. On the other hand, CTI Biplab Chakraborty of Mecheda Ticket Checking Squad registered 10,932 cases of irregular and ticketless travel in 297 working days and recovered an amount of Rs.1,00,04,335/-.

The division has performed exceptionally well in the ticket checking segment by registering a growth of around 421% during this financial year as compared to the figures for the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Senior DCM Kharagpur, Rajesh Kumar attributed the remarkable achievement to the hard work and dedication of the employees.
