Kerala TET 2023: Candidates who want to appear for the exam can check their scores through the official website at ktet.kerala.gov.in

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has declared the result of the Kerala State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2023 for the August session. Candidates who want to appear for the exam can check their scores through the official website at ktet.kerala.gov.in. The result has been released for Category I, Category II, Category III, and Category IV.

The exam was conducted from September 10 to September 16 in two shifts – morning and afternoon. The first shift (morning) is from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift (afternoon) will be conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

KERALA TET 2023 RESULT: STEPS TO CHECK

Step 1: Go to the official website of Kerala TET 2023 at ktet.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, search and click on the result link.

Step 3: Enter the required details — application number and application id.

Step 4: The Kerala TET 2023 result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Cross-check all the details. In case of any discrepancy in the details such as name, or application number, inform the authorities immediately.

Step 6: Save, download, and take a print out of the result for further use.

The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test is divided into four categories – Category 1, 2,3, and 4. The exam features only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. The exam is held for a total of 150 marks.

The Category I exam is held for those who want to teach lower primary classes (I-V), Category II for those who want to teach upper primary classes (VI-VIII), Category III for those who are willing to teach high school classes (IX-X) and Category IV for those who want to be language teachers –Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu in high schools.

Candidates who have completed the higher secondary/senior secondary (equivalent) examination with 48 per cent marks and the Trained Teachers Certificate or Diploma in Technical Education administered by the Kerala Government Examination Board are eligible for KTET.
