A class 10 student died in a road accident in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His parents donated his organs. Organs were transplanted to six different needy people. This saved everyone’s life. When this student died, till then the result of class X had not come. When the result came, it was found that student BR Sarang has topped the 10th.
Death on Wednesday, result came on Friday
His father Bineesh Kumar and mother Rajneesh had decided to donate their 16-year-old son’s organs. Sarang, a student of Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Attingal, met with an accident on May 6. He was undergoing treatment but died during treatment on Wednesday before the result came. When the result came, he got A+ with no grace marks.
Tears welled up in the eyes of the education minister
State General Education Minister V Sivankutty also got emotional while announcing the results at a press conference on Friday. Tears welled up in his eyes when he told that Sarang, who had secured top grade, had recently died in an accident. He said that the family’s decision to donate organs would encourage the society for social service.
