The Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai is likely to meet the family members of BJP youth worker, Pravin, who was hacked to death by motorcycle-borne attackers in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday night. The CM cancelled several events organised to mark the one-year anniversary of his government on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday recovered another Rs 28 crore in cash and over 5 kg of gold from Arpita Mukherjee’s second apartment, days after recovering Rs 21 crore from her first flat. Officials, who took 10 hours to count the money, said a huge amount of money was recovered from the toilet.
