Kangana Ranaut Thanks Late Director Bimal Roy’s Family For Giving His ‘Rare Camera’ For Filming

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut is one of the most successful celebrities in the country. Coming from a non-filmy background, the ‘Emergency’ has carved her own path in the film industry and is now one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood.

After delivering some powerful performances in her career, Kangana Ranaut also donned the hat of a director and now she has also stepped into the shoes of a producer with Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’.

Kangana Ranaut has been sharing updates about her work on social media with her fans. Recently, the ‘Thalaivii’ actress shared an update on her Instagram where she can be seen on the sets of a film with late filmmaker Bimal Roy’s ‘rare camera’. She thanked Bimal Roy’s family for giving this ‘precious gem’ to her and penned down a note that read, “This is no ordinary day, today one the sets of Tiku weds Sheru I found a rare gem, Newall camera right from the golden age of Indian Cinema 1950’s and this belonged to one of the greatest directors of all time Shri Bimal Roy ji …As I am all set to direct my second feature film Emergency this is nothing short of a blessing…What a lovely day …Thanks to the family of Bimal Roy ji to give us this precious gem for filming”.

The ‘Dhaakad’ actress also shared a picture of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur from the upcoming movie ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ and wrote, “Stuff that dreams are made of …Tiku weds Sheru..”

Meanwhile, speaking about her upcoming movies as an actor, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Tejas’, ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Emergency’ and ‘The Incarnation: Sita’.
