New Delhi: Kajol recently recalled the day when her daughter Nysa Devgan had an unpleasant paparazzi encounter. In a recent interview, the actor stated that she has improved over time and manages them gracefully. Nysa is capable of handling media attention on her own, she added.
In a recent interview with NDTV, the actor was asked how her daughter Nysa is coping with the paparazzi as she is frequently photographed by them. “I can’t teach her how to deal with paparazzi, she has learnt that with experience. She first had an experience with the paps in Jaipur. We both were alone and were not travelling with any security. At that time, the photographers surrounded us and started shouting, this scared her and she started crying. I just carried her in my arms and went straight to the car. Later, I explained to her that it’s their job,” Kajol said.
The actor further said that Nysa is much more adept than she is at handling such circumstances with grace and dignity. “She is better now with these situations and she is handling it very well. She is handling it with a lot more grace and dignity than I would have. If I was in her place, toh mera chappal bahut pehle nikal chuka hota,” she said.
On the work front, Kajol recently starred in the Netflix anthology film ‘Lust Stories 2’. She was lauded for giving a strong performance in the movie. At present, the actor has been busy with the promotion of her next courtroom drama ‘The Trial’ on Hotstar. The series is an Indian adaptation of the popular American show ‘The Good Wife’. It will start streaming on Hotstar on July 14.
