A job fair for the unemployed youth is going to be organised in Koderma city of Jharkhand. District Employment Exchange cum Model Career Center will be conducting the same which is named Dattopant Thengadi Employment Fair. It will take place on February 18.
District Planning Officer Imran Farooqui said that in this job fair, the candidates will be selected for more than 1,700 vacancies in private sector companies located in Koderma and other states. The one-day employment fair will be organised at the JJ College campus Jhumri Telaiya from 10 am to 4 pm.
While talking to Local18, DPO, Imam Farooqui said that the candidates have to bring their original certificates along with their photocopies, two copies of bio-data and two passport-size photographs, if they wish to apply for the recruitment drive in the job fair. The employment officer said that the interested candidates must register themselves in the employment office. You can apply for the same through the Jharkhand Rojgar website–https://rojgar.jharkhand.gov.in/. In this job fair, the candidates will get the benefit of the local employment policy if they carry their local residence certificate.
The District Planning Officer said that the recruitment will be done for several posts including Assistant Electrician, Field Operator, Accountant, Supervisor, Mechanic, Teacher, GNM, Lab Technician, Sales Manager, Mechanical Foreman, Helper, Receptionist, Sales Consultant, Guard, Driver, Length Operator, Assistant Professor and other posts. The recruitment process will vary with the rules and regulations of the private companies. The pay scale of the selected candidates will range from Rs 9,500 to Rs 35,000 as per the posts.
Through employment fairs, the Jharkhand government claims to have placed over 50,000 residents of the state. As per the statistics present on the Rojgar Jharkhand website, over one lakh candidates have registered themselves in the employment, seeking help to find jobs. The Dattopant Thengadi Employment Fair was also held in Dhanbad, Jharkhand on February 16. It was conducted at the Lower Regional Employment Exchange Complex. Salaries were offered in the range of Rs 8,000 to Rs 50,000.
