Candidates can apply for the JMI MSc Biotechnology admissions for the year 2023-24 on their official website, jmicoe.in. There are a total of 10 available seats, and candidates will be selected based on their merit, which will be later displayed on the official website.
As per the official notification, ‘’The office of the Controller of Examinations invites applications for admission to MS. in Biotechnology supported by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Gol through GAT-B score at Department of Biotechnology, JMI for the academic session 2023-24.”
JMI MSc Biotechnology 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to this course must have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharma) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biosciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, or any field of modern biology. They should also have achieved a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their undergraduate course.

Step 5. Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Step 6. Re-check the complete details in the form.
Step 7. After re-checking, submit the application fee as per your category.
Step 8. Once the fee is submitted, a confirmation page will appear on your screen.
Step 9. Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
JMI MSc Biotechnology 2023-24: Reservation policy
–– OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must present a pertinent certificate issued by the appropriate body.
–– Any open seats from the categories of Women Applicants and OBC-NCL Applicants shall be filled by the Muslim Minority category.
–– Students with online or privately earned degrees are ineligible for the relaxation policy.
–– For NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers, the qualifying examination will be eased by 5% and 2% overall, respectively.
