Forest officials upon receiving information rushed to the site and started fire-fighting operations. On the same day, a fire also broke out in the Kandli forest area in the Rajouri district. A devastating fire has been raging in the Kaldi forest Area, under the Udhampur Forest Division in Jammu and Kashmir for the past few days, causing immense damage to the region’s wildlife and vegetation.
