Two routes are used for Amarnath Yatra

Two routes are used for Amarnath Yatra, Pahalgam and Baltal routes. In view of the threat of Corona, the Jammu and Kashmir administration, after holding talks with the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, postponed the Yatra for 2020 and 2021.

It has been ensured by the administration that the devotees do not face any kind of problem on the way to Amarnath.

Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor on Monday visited the base camp set up for the Amarnath Yatra, reviewed the arrangements for the yatra and said the security forces are on the alert to ensure the pilgrimage goes smoothly.
