Jharkhand: Security forces kill two Maoists in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, search operation continues

Security forces had an encounter with Maoists in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Friday morning. During this, two Maoist security forces have been killed. According to the information, the CRPF, Jharkhand Jaguars and the state police achieved this success during a joint operation after information about the presence of Maoists in the Baruda forest. On the spot, the security forces are currently conducting a search operation in search of other Maoists.

Ajay Linda, Deputy Inspector General, Kolhan Division, said that two members of the CPI (Maoist) were killed in an operation in the Baruda forest of Kuchai police station area. He said the security forces have recovered arms and ammunition from the slain Maoists. He said the encounter between the security forces and the Maoists was going on till the final reports were received.
