CPI-Maoist area commander Surajnath Kherwar is a resident of Bulbul village under Pesharar police station area of Lohardaga district. He had joined the CPI-Maoist Naxalite organization in the year 2013-14. In the year 2013-14, the villagers took the decision to hand over only 12-year-old Surajnath Kherwar to the Maoists in the year 2013-14 after the CPI-Maoist Naxalite organization gave the order to demand children while meeting in village-village. From then till now Surajnath Kherwar was living in the Maoist organization.

At the same time, after surrendering, Naxalite Surajnath Kherwar told that he had wandered and joined the organization. Naxalite Surajnath on this occasion appealed to other Naxalites to take advantage of the rehabilitation policy by the government and return to the mainstream of the society with respect.
