Jharkhand News: Former sub-zonal commander of Naxalites arrested with girlfriend, many weapons including AK-47 recovered

A former sub-zonal commander of Naxalites was arrested on Sunday from a forest in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district. Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Jha said that a special police team was formed following information about the movement of former sub-zonal commander Bhanu Singh Kharwar. The SP said on Sunday that Kharwar and his lover tried unsuccessfully to escape after seeing the police team approaching, but were caught.
