Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais met JMM chief Shibu Soren on Sunday and inquired about his health. Chief Minister Hemant Soren was also present during the meeting.
The JMM supremo, who was admitted to the hospital on February 9 due to breathlessness, was discharged from the hospital on Sunday, an official said. According to a Raj Bhavan release, the governor met former chief minister and MP Shibu Soren at his residence and inquired about his health.
Notably, Bais has been appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra on Sunday after President Draupadi Murmu accepted the resignation of Bhagat Singh Koshyari, according to an official statement. CP Radhakrishnan has been appointed as the new Governor of Jharkhand.
