Jharkhand: 2681 new cases of corona found on Tuesday, two people died

Corona cases are increasing rapidly again in the country. The number of corona patients increasing at a doubling rate has also put the state governments into worry. On Tuesday, 2,681 new cases of corona were reported in Jharkhand, which is double the number of cases reported on Monday. The maximum number of patients have been found in five districts of Jharkhand.

Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi recorded 1,196 cases. It was followed by East Singhbhum (402), Bokaro (162), Dhanbad (181) and Koderma (152). On Monday, 1,057 new coronavirus cases were reported in Jharkhand. Two more people died on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 5,149.

At present, 7,681 corona cases are active in the state. Meanwhile, 34,51,35 people have been cured of the disease so far, including 216 in the last 24 hours. A total of 55,010 samples have been tested for corona in the last 24 hours.
