‘Jawan’ Makers Sell Music Rights Of SRK, Nayanthara Starrer For Rs. 36 Cr

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s collaboration ‘Jawan’ is perhaps one the biggest films to release this year. After ‘Pathaan’, and thanks to Atlee’s reputation with blockbusters, fans have high expectations about the film’s release. Earlier, ‘Jawaan’s OTT deal had created quite a buzz and now it seems the makers have done something again to keep the excitement around the film up. As per trade analyst and South film critic Manobala Vijayabalan, ‘Jawan’ has sold the music rights of the film to T-Series at Rs. 36 crores.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Vijayabalan shared, “In an unprecedented deal, the music rights of the highly anticipated #ShahRukhKhan film #Jawan have been sold for an astounding ₹36 crores to the music label T-Series. ‘Jawan’ has shattered all previous records in the industry, reaffirming Shah Rukh Khan’s unrivaled dominance and star power. Jawan is poised to be a cinematic spectacle.  The film is set to deliver an enthralling narrative, filled with emotions, action, and gripping storytelling.”

‘Jawan’ is an action-thriller movie written and directed by Atlee. It is an ensemble film starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanay Malhotra and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone, Vijay and Sanjay Dutt will also be making cameo appearances in the film.

The music of the film has been scored by the music director Anirudh Ravichander. The film has also been shot across India in locations like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and other locales.

The release of ‘Jawan‘ has been postponed many times and now it seems that the film will be released on September 7, 2023 on the occasion of Janmashtami.

Shah Rukh Khan also has Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ in the pipeline. Taapsee Pannu will be playing the lead opposite him.
