The condition of ‘Janihit in public interest’ is not good out of the desi films ‘Janihit Mein Jaari’ and ‘777 Charlie’, which were released with Hollywood film ‘Jurassic World Dominion’. Though the film has kept its makers’ hopes up by registering a jump of over 60 per cent in its earnings on the second day of release, the film will have to do wonders on Sunday to stay in the box office race. While the film ‘777 Charlie’ was not given as much love by the Hindi-speaking audience as ‘Janhit Mein Jari’, yes, the film is doing well in Kannada. On the other hand, the box office struggle of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ continues. The collection of Tamil film ‘Vikram’ was also great on the ninth day of its release. The shine of the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ continues in the fourth week as well. Let’s see how much was the collection of these films on Saturday.
Surge in earnings of ‘released in public interest’
Nusrat Bharucha, Anud Singh Dhaka and Paritosh Tripathi starrer ‘Janhit Mein Jari’ was released on Friday at a ticket rate of Rs. The people of the film world believe that the decision of the makers to release the film on the first day at reduced rates has overshadowed the film. This sent a message to the audience that the film is not good, only then its makers have reduced its ticket rates. Although the film registered a jump of more than 60 per cent on Saturday, but the film will have to do a miracle on Sunday to stay in the race. The film, which opened with an opening of Rs 43 lakh, has earned Rs 70 lakh on Saturday according to the initial figures.
‘777 Charlie’ did not get audience in Hindi
The Kannada film ‘777 Charlie’, which released on Friday, was completely rejected by the Hindi-speaking audience on the first day. According to the final figures, the film earned a total of Rs 6.2 crore on the first day and the share of its Hindi version was only Rs 15 lakh. The film has earned Rs 7.60 crore as per the initial figures on the second day of release. The total earning of the film at the box office has now been Rs 13.80 crore.
‘Jurassic World Dominion’
The film ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ exploded on the first day with an opening of Rs 11.47 crore. The film’s earnings got better on the second day. According to preliminary figures, the film has earned Rs 11.50 crore on Saturday. With this, the total earning of both the days of the film has gone up to Rs 22.97 crore. The first day opening of the film ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ in India, ‘Deadpool 2’, ‘The Lion King’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘Deadpool 2’, ‘The Lion King’,’ The Jungle Book is more than that.
The struggle of ‘Emperor Prithviraj’ continues
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, which was out of the hit race in the first week itself, continues to struggle at the box office. After earning a disappointing Rs 55.05 crore in the first week, the film earned Rs 1.66 crore on the eighth day of its release, according to Friday’s final figures. The film earned Rs 2.30 crore on the second Saturday of the film’s release i.e. on the ninth day. The film was completely rejected by Tamil and Telugu audiences.
