Jacqueline’s alleged boyfriend Sukesh’s game: Called ex-Ranbaxy promoter’s wife from jail, cheated 200 crores by pretending to be home secretary

Another game of Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is in jail for alleged boyfriend of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes and money laundering of crores, has come to light. This case pertains to the defrauding of former Ranbaxy promoter Shivinder Singh’s wife to the tune of 200 crores.

Shivinder is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail since 2017 on charges of cheating. Sukesh implicated his wife Aditi Singh by becoming the home secretary and duped Rs 200 crore. An audio recording included in the ED’s chargesheet gives a clear understanding of how the game was played.

This story begins in 2019. A call came to Aditi Singh, wife of Jail Shivinder Singh on charges of money laundering. The person speaking from the other side posed as Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and said that he can get bail for her husband soon. Sukesh Chandrashekhar was none other than the caller.

Talking as Home Secretary, Sukesh said that he has access to Home Minister Amit Shah. So he can help Aditi’s husband to get out of jail. For this, he will have to donate to the party fund.

Aditi gave 200 crore rupees by getting caught in the talks
Coming to Sukesh’s words, Aditi gave about 200 crores in the name of party fund. Months later, she realized that she was in the trap of some thug. Sukesh did this whole fraud while sitting in jail. He has been in jail since 2017. He duped Aditi Rs 200 crore in 30 installments between 2020 and 2021.

ED alerts about fraud
By June 2020, Aditi started getting suspicious. Sukesh also understood this. To take Aditi into confidence, he got him to talk to different people in the name of Law Secretary Anoop Kumar and his junior Abhinav. In July 2020, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) alerted Aditi about the fraud taking place against her. He then started recording phone calls.

Aditi has handed over the recording of 84 calls made with Sukesh in 11 months to the ED. After the disclosure of the matter, Aditi has lodged an FIR against Sukesh Chandrashekhar for cheating of Rs 200 crore.

Secret of cheating revealed in conversation with husband
Aditi had also told the whole thing to her husband Shivinder Singh, who was in jail. Shivinder then asked him to speak to the Law Secretary. On this, Aditi said that Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla himself has promised to meet him. Amit Shah himself has personally told him that he should call me. They will also meet when the right time comes. This exposed the whole truth of the fraud.

Aditi told that she had given 200 crore rupees by selling her jewelry and property. After that he kept getting threats. Their children studying abroad were also threatened with harm.

No bribe angle in the case
None of the government officials whose names were used by Sukesh filed a police complaint. No part of the cheated amount was given to any officer, so there was no bribe angle in it. After the disclosure of the matter, it is believed that Aditi is one of the many targets of Sukesh.

Both the brothers are locked in the charges of fraud
In December 2018, Religare Finvest Limited had filed a complaint against Shivinder and his brother Malvinder with the Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi Police. A case was registered against both of them in May 2019. He is facing charges of fraud of Rs 740 crore. The brothers sold their pharmaceutical company Ranbaxy to a Japanese pharma company for $4.6 billion. Both are lodged in Tihar Jail since October 2019.
