Here Are Some Excerpts From The Interview:

  • What inspired you to transition from being a radio jockey to creating and acting in your own sketches and characters full-time?

Since childhood, I have tried new things creatively. So, when I noticed the rise in the content creation industry, I hopped on it. I have always loved telling stories and making people laugh and this has helped me find my space amidst the clutter during the pandemic.

  • How has your journey in the media space evolved from your early days as an RJ to now being invited to the Cannes Film Festival?

Everything feels like magic, I grew up watching and hearing about these events at social gatherings and in the media and now, being a part of these prestigious events, it’s surreal. The journey has not been smooth, I have had intense struggles but each one taught me something that made me a better human being personally and professionally.

My community has played a very vital role in my progression, the love and support that they have showered on me has helped me reach where I am. This is why I make sure that my audience has fun and enjoys what I create. They have several times asked me for new characters in my videos, and I am working on it now.

  • What are your expectations from Cannes this year?

As I attend the festival, I have excitement as well as nervousness. It’s a dream come true moment but with a side of jitters. I can’t wait to soak in it, from the buzz in the air to rubbing elbows with fellow creative minds. It’s going to be quite a memorable one.

  • What is next for you? Do you still write, shoot and edit your videos on your own?

Yes, till today I am a one-woman army but not anymore, I will expand my team as and when required because a team can achieve greater heights than a person alone.
