It will not explode again! People are leaving Sitakunda in Chittagong in panic

Extensive area has been burnt in the terrible fire of Sitakunda in Chittagong. In that situation, people and workers hired at the depot have left the area.

According to Bangladeshi media sources, most of the depot workers’ quarters that were blown up have been vacated. There could be another explosion, locals are leaving the area in panic. Many villagers have already moved to relatives’ homes. Many are preparing to leave. The people of the village are so terrified that they have already sent the children to a relative’s house.

People’s representatives told the media that local residents have been panicking since the blast at the depot on Saturday night. But they thought the fire would go out quickly. But it did not happen.

A resident of a village next to the depot told local media this morning that he had sent his two young children to a relative’s house the day after the blast, fearing they would not leave. But they are preparing to leave the house for fear of an explosion.

In the meantime, trade has suffered greatly. In an interview with a Bangladeshi newspaper, a local businessman said that their business was suffering huge losses due to the closure of factories and the evacuation of people from nearby areas.
