IRCTC Announces ‘Navratri Special Trains’ To Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine – Check Details

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) on Wednesday has announced the launch of the ‘Navratri Special Tourist Train’ for devotees who are planning to visit holy shrine of Katra Mata Vaishno Devi.

Two special AC trains will operate under the Bharat Gaurav initiative, which will be run by IRCTC beginning September 30. According to reports, Indian Railways has also made arrangements for devotees’ lodging, food, and transportation as part of this special tour package.

The trains will take two trips between September 25 – September 29 and September 30 – October 4 from Safdarjung railway station in New Delhi. The Indian Railways has further introduced a tour package for devotees which includes staying, food, and travel for devotees. The tour package is 5 days and 4-nights long.

Better facilities will be provided to passengers during the five-day journey. In addition, vegetarian food will be served to passengers from the modern kitchen car.

The Navratri Special Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra tour package lasts four nights and five days. The journey will begin at New Delhi’s Safdarjung railway station.
